"You did a great job, everyone loved the ceremony! Thank you so much." ~ Jaime and Jake
"The keepsake script was perfect -- thank you so much. Chanda and I are so happy with the way
the ceremony was performed. We had numerous compliments on how neat it was to hear you
tell our love story. Should anyone inquire with us about going with a custom ceremony, you will
be highly recommended. Thanks again." ~Rick and Chanda Tweedie
"We are very happy with how you've been able to capture our story without really knowing us
personally. So many of our guests commented on how beautiful and unique the ceremony
was. Thank you again!" ~ Tanya and Alberto Guerrero
"Thank you so much for performing our wedding ceremony yesterday. Everything was just
perfect. We received many, many wonderful compliments." ~ Amy and Bruce Cole
"Emily was wonderful, and only given 2 weeks notice to get the whole ceremony together.
Our ceremony was non traditional but she performed it very professionally.
We loved the ceremony."
~ Stephanie and Steven Dibbel, married August 16. 2008, Fred's Inn, Norwich
Emily VanLaeys performed our wedding ceremony this past July 12th. Not only did she officiate
in a joyful and festive way (which was how we wanted it), but Emily also was extremely helpful
with the preparations. She provided sample vows and possible readings, gave advice on the
placement and timing of the ceremony and its participants, and was positive and accepting of all
our needs. I would definitely recommend her to any other couple planning their nuptials."

Dear Emily,
I want to thank you for the beautiful ceremony you prepared for my daughter and
her husband for their wedding. You captured the tenderness and love of their
relationship, the framework of family traditions and the support and caring of the
community of family and friends in a very personal way. This alone would have
been sufficient but it was delivered with poise and good humour during an Upstate
New York deluge! Kudos for a ceremony that left nary a dry eye at its conclusion.
With sincere thanks,
Inez Kohn (Julia's mother)

creating and performing the perfect Ceremony for
our Wedding. Her suggestions really made the

the personal and heartfelt service will serve to
enhance and maintain our love for one another.
Thank you again Emily!"

"Emily is absolutely wonderful. She traveled a great
distance to us, led the rehearsal, and performed the
ceremony the next day. She was very easy to work with
and was more than willing to incorporate all of our
ideas. As part of the wedding, she wrote a beautiful
"recognition" ceremony for our children (my wife's from
her first marriage). All of our guests commented on
how beautiful the ceremony was and how touching it
was that Emily was able to involve the children in such
a meaningful way. My wife and I highly recommend
Emily to anyone in search of someone to officiate their
wedding. THANK YOU EMILY!"
